Sweet William finds some lovely Codling at anchor on the inner rough ground

Huge thanks to James, Dustin and the ladies for a great run out today.

We headed off into the sunrise to unbelievably still conditions, only for the wind to pick up almost immediately!

Thankfully we found the mackerel on the first stop; again a mix of solid fish amongst the smaller stamp.

We attempted a couple of wrecks and managed a decent haddock on the first drift, before the wind stopped play, so we headed inside to calmer conditions and dropped the anchor.

The guys found some nice cod, and there were plenty of big fat pouting, coalies and whiting for sport inbetween the better fish.

All in all a great day out for the time of year and the conditions!
