Cod and mackerel on an evening trip aboard Sweet William

Big thanks to Jonny for organising a long overdue catch up with Bri, Dave and Benji tonight!

The sun came out, calm seas, but a fairly gusty wind to contend with, so we stuck inside for a bit of shelter until it dropped away later in the evening.

Any amount of mackerel, whiting, pouting and codling providing non stop sport pretty much all night, with a good stamp of fish coming off a smaller inshore wreck towards the latter part of the evening.

Dave nailed the sweep, with Bri nipping at his heels!

Fantastic night topped off with a lovely sunset for the short steam home.
