Massive thanks to Tog Edwards for organising a run out with the Keel Inn Angling Club who travelled all the way up from Barnsley. We also welcomed aboard Paul Harland and Stuart who was out celebrating his 70th birthday.

The weather was incredible, flat seas, sunshine and little to no wind.

We headed out and found the mackerel on the first stop, not in great numbers but enough to provide plenty of bait for the day.

Once we got to the wrecks after a considerable steam, Wayne knocked straight into a lovely brace of cod with a combined weight of 16.11 lb.

Steve winkled out a fantastic Ling of 14.15 lb.

Paul was quietly pulling in so many fish he ran out of places to put them all; we broke out the backup jumbo cool box, and before long he'd filled that aswell!

It was a pleasure to have a full boat of great anglers and the results speak for themselves. Keel Inn Angling Club performed well, but we have to say... "NOT BAD, COD DO BETTER"!
