For the first time in over a month, the weather is genuinely looking decent this Saturday 18th March 2023.

Sweet William Charter Boat have spaces available for a full day trip, departing Royal Quays Marina on the River Tyne in the North East of England at 7:30am, returning at approximately 4:00pm.

Low Water approximately 6:45am.

High Water approximately 12:33pm

Tide Height is approximately 4.2 metres.

Swell - less than 1 metre with lazy 11 second intervals.

Wind Speed and direction - swirling around randomly most of the day between 1 and 5 knots.

Fishing update - the fishing has been pretty hard going for the past 3 to 4 weeks due to a relentless northerly swell; we assume the fish have been pretty much full after feeding for almost a month solid. We tried half a dozen wrecks last Saturday 11th March 2023 between 4 and 9 miles offshore, and the wrecks proved as quiet as the inner rough ground.

Although the tide is very small, with minimal water movement, hopefully the fish are back on the feed.

Either way, it should be a fantastic run out with minimal wind and swell, and touching 11 degrees centigrade!

If you fancy a day on the water please contact the skipper, Geoff, on 07740 706007.
