When we get a call from Tamas and the lads (and lasses), we already know it's going to be a good day, and that's before we find any fish!

We headed out to sunshine, light winds, and a bit of a South Easterly roll.

We stuck close inside to find a few mackerel for sport, the pan, and bait and then slowly started to creep further out to deeper water and the bigger wrecks.

We rigged the guys up for wrecking and made the final jump offshore in search of a better stamp of fish.

Some lovely cod, pollack and smaller ling came up before we had to head home to get one of the lads back in time for the airport.

We enjoyed non stop sport on coalies, whiting, pouting and mackerel throughout the day.

The First Mate had a couple of drops on the final wreck, and winkled himself out a nice pollack weighing in at 7.1lb on the digital scales which is his new PB!
