Ling, Pollack and Cod on Father’s Day
Big thanks to Lee for organising a cracking day out with the toon lads yesterday, for once we didn’t have to do any entertaining as their banter was on another level , some great cod and pollack, and the biggest Ling being 7’10. We welcomed aboard Daz and his son Hugo for a pre-Father’s Day adventure last night, Shay from Gateshead, along with the Stanley lads, and even a guest appearance from the Hose specialist himself Gavin; we had some testing gusts early in the evening, ending with glorious conditions and a fishing frenzy to see the night off and another incredible sunset for the ride home.
Happy heavenly Father’s Day to Sweet William :-)
Some lovely sunset cod
Great craic with the North Shields lads aboard Sweet William tonight. They were more than happy to stick it out in some windy conditions early in the evening, sheltering under the cliffs in 12 metres of water. When we hit slack water and the gusts died off for a short while, we put the hammer down, headed out and hit three wrecks while we had the chance. The best fish was a new PB at 8'10, with a stunning sunset on the steam home.

A day out with Slippy Limpets
A day out fishing reefs and wrecks with none other than Slippy Limpets aboard Sweet William. None stop fishing all day, with hundreds of fish taken, most of which went straight back to fight another day. Plenty of Cod, Ling, Pollack both on the rough ground and the wrecks.
An evening trip on Sweet William
Amazing evening trip last night with the Seaton Sluice lads, next level craic as always, with fair weather and a sunset to top it off. The fishing was steady with the lads picking away all night on Cod, Coalies, Mackerel, Pollack and Ling.
